Care & Cleaning Guide

DIRECTIONS:

LIQUID CLEANER:

Use a soft brush with the Liquid Cleaner to remove the day-to-day dirt, grease, hair spray, perfume, hand lotion, and anything else that can cause your jewelry to appear dull or cloudy. The Liquid Cleaner works well in all ultrasonic jewelry cleaner machines. Just add a few capfuls of the liquid to your water to bring out the "pizzazz" of your fine jewelry.

FINE JEWELRY or COSTUME JEWELRY:

  1. Drop your jewelry piece in the basket;
  2. Soak if desired, or just brush with a soft toothbrush;
  3. Rinse with warm water, and dry with a soft cotton cloth

    ***NOTE:  Do not soak costume/fashion, antique jewelry, pearls or soft stones.  Simply dip in the cleaner, brush if needed, rinse with warm water, and dry with a soft cotton cloth.

    GLASSES, GOGGLES, TABLET AND PHONE SCREENS:

    1. Spray cleaner on lens surface;
    2. Wipe dry with a soft cotton cloth

      ***NOTE: The Liquid cleaner does NOT remove tarnish.  We recommend our Sparkle Bright Products Tarnish Remover & Polishing Cream for removing tarnish.

      TARNISH REMOVER & POLISHING CREAM:

      1. Apply the cream to the metal with a clean cotton cloth using a circular rubbing motion until the tarnish is gone. Black tarnish and dirt will be evident on your cloth.  Continue using a circular rubbing motion, changing positions on the cloth, until the piece has a polished finish.
      2. Use a soft toothbrush, dipped in the cream, to get into crevices of the metal if needed. Brush lightly. Wipe with a circular rubbing motion to polish those areas.
      3. Rinse with warm water and dry. For pearl necklaces, (or other pieces that have stones) that have silver pieces in-between that have tarnished, use a Q-Tip with some cream to gently rub the tarnish off. If the cream gets on the pearls or stones, just rinse with warm water.

          Because precious metals do not tarnish immediately, it should only be necessary to use the cream once per month to maintain the brilliance of your metals.

          ***NOTE:  POLISHING CREAM IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON: Plated Metals, Costume & Fashion Jewelry, or pieces with a lacquered clear finish.

          KITS and MACHINE KITS:

          When you are using both the Liquid Cleaner and the Tarnish Remover & Polishing Cream, use the Cream first followed by the Liquid Cleaner.

          When using an ultrasonic cleaner or steamer, for best results, clean your jewelry piece in the following order:
          1. Tarnish Remover & Polishing Cream
          2. Liquid Cleaner
          3. Ultrasonic Cleaner or Steamer
